For standard 750 ml Bordeaux, Pinot, and Champagne bottles, 24 pt. cardstock is ideal. We recommend using a sticker to seal the bottom and support the bottle’s weight. For quarter bottles (187.5 ml) or half-liter bottles, 14 pt. or 18 pt. cardstock is suitable.
Corrugated cardboard wine boxes are better for heavier and bulkier bottles like Jeroboam (4.5 liters), Salmanazar (9 liters), and Nebuchadnezzar (15 liters). Corrugated options include standard white, premium white with glossy ink, and Kraft (brown) cardboard.
